Collective Kitchen

Serving up food and smiles

Welcome to our kitchen

The 3 main goals of our collective kitchen is to:

  1. Reduce food waste as much as possible by transforming surplus food.
  2. Fight and advocate against social isolation of the elderly.
  3. Promote good physical and mental health.

Whether it is quantities of food received in bulk, moldy or squished fruits and vegetables, our chefs do it all to turn food that would have gone to waste into delicious meals and snacks for our clients & events!

Our Events

Our kitchen offers lunches for seniors as well as the “Passion Plein Air Cloverdale” skating events for children.

Throughout the year seniors are given a free meal and a space to socialize and come together to eat and converse with one another.

Our skating events between January to February offers free skates, skating lessons, hot chocolate, snacks, and a warm meal every Saturday!

The Creative Kitchen

A program that offers weekly hands on cooking experience for children and teens ages 12-15 years old.

Our program builds food literacy, confidence, social connection, and encourages curiosity and creativity. Throughout our 10 week program workshops, kids will have 2 hours to learn, master their cooking skills, transform food, and make connections and friends along the way.
