The West Island Nursery Donation – Herbs, Perennials and Annuals
The West Island Nursery located in Pierrefonds has been extremely gracious in donating a variety of herbs, perennials and annuals to us in order to help out the West Island community. By visiting our new community garden, the Garden of Hope, plants will be given out on a first come first serve basis. A maximum of six plants per family will be granted. The plants that will be offered include Chives, Lemon Balm, Sage, Oregano, Mint, Stevia, Parsley, Basil and Green Santolina.
The Garden of Hope is open to single parent low income families. If you would like to become a member, please email infojardins@fdoi.org where our coordinator Natalie Tanguay will be happy to answer any questions you may have. The garden is located at 9 Commercial Centre street, Roxboro, QC H8Y 2N9.
