We are pleased to welcome our new Chief of Operations, Mr. Abdelkerim Moussa Ngarbassa. Moussa is a seasoned manager who has joined the West Island Aid Assistance Fund (WIAF) team.
Holder of a master’s degree in public administration from l’École nationale d’administration publique (ÉNAP), he brings to the WIAF significant experience in financial management, logistics and quality control. Accustomed to working in a fast paced and result-oriented environment, he has always contributed to the success of the companies and organizations for which he has worked.
Originally from Tchad, he and his family of five experienced the same immigration process that many of our members go through. He is aware of the challenges newcomers face and was even involved in supporting them during his time at CDS-Balimaya, a community organization promoting the socioeconomic development of the African community in Quebec.
Moussa is also President of the Board of Directors of the Cartierville Solidarity Housing Cooperative and was previously President of the Board of Directors and Interim Director of the Childhood Center (CPE) Enfants de Tous Pays.
“One of my greatest accomplishments is to bring smiles to people who go through difficult situations and I will pursue this goal in my new role.”
It is with great pride and confidence that the WIAF Board of Directors welcomes Moussa to the team and we wish him every success.
